Here you see two of my works where the ocean, our great mother is strongly present.

The element water stands for emotion and is connected with the second chakra, through where we experience  our sensual being and creative expression. Making these works helped me to actually visualize a rich and satisfying second-chakra-experience. The woman, the expression of self in these paintings is one with the element water. In Ocean in love she holds a heart on her belly and throws a bottle with her wish into the water. She gives the ocean her trust and surrenders with a good feeling to whatever may come. For sure her wish is heared and she feels like how she will feel in the moment her wish will be fulfilled!

In La Mar Enfortuna a river overflows the trees and houses. On the other side of the river there is fire..The woman becomes a mermaid so she can dive and go with the flow. And even in this darkness, she is focussing on the treasure. Where she is, she beieves in it an finds it, in the mouth of something dark.

I can not express how great my love is for the ocean. Her sound, her smell, her breathtaking looks, how sunlight, wind and clouds play with her, how she comes and goes, feeds and kills. It took me a moment before I could write the word kill, because I know she took innocent lifes. But it´s the cycle of life fascinating me. Death means empty space and nature is so endlessly creative, where she is hurt she somehow seems to kiss herself.. Where she hurts others, human-beings can learn to heal and trust in the neverending loving life-force.
